RM1 At EPPING ONGAR RAILWAY

London Transport Museum's prototype Routemaster RM1 took part in the Nothing But Routemasters event at the Epping Ongar Railway on 25th August. The event marked the 70th anniversary of the delivery of this, the first, Routemaster to London Transport in 1954.

RM1 is seen here leading a cavalcade which included two other prototype Routemasters: RML3 and Green Line CRL4.

RM1 was crewed and stewarded by volunteers from the London Transport Museum Friends.
