Gift Aid

If you are a taxpayer we can increase the value of your contribution by 25% through Gift Aid.

Please treat as Gift Aid donations all qualifying gifts of money made in the past four years and in the future.

I confirm I have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities or Community Amateur Sports Clubs that I donate to will reclaim on my gifts for that tax year. I understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify. I understand that the LTMF will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I have given.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations 2018, London Transport Museum Friends and our service providers will only use the personal data you have provided above to contact you about London Transport Museum Friends news, events and offers

The London Transport Museum Friends (the Friends) will store any information supplied by you on a computer in a secure location. The information held will be your Title, Name, Address, Postcode, Telephone number(s and, e-mail address(es). Bank Account details will be retained only if you pay by direct Debit. Your bank card details will not be stored.

This information is required in order to:

Administer your membership and communicate with you
Advise you of membership benefits
Provide information considered to be of interest to you as a member of the Friends”

Your information will not be disclosed or sold to any third party other than:

HMRC for Friends Gift Aid claims where you have completed a Gift Aid Declaration in favour of the Friends
Giving your address to the Friends newsletter printers who handle newsletter mailings on behalf of the Friends
The Friends web provider and the Friends online secure payment facility provider for processing membership applications, renewals, members’ own personal data amendments and maintenance of the Friends website.

Friends’ members have the right to:

See their personal data held by the Friends
Request amendment of any part of their personal data that is incorrect
Request that their personal data be deleted or not used in certain ways

Personal data will be deleted from the Friends records when it is no longer required by the Friends for administrative purposes, or for legal reasons (e.g. HMRC for Gift Aid)

Member’s details may be shared with The London Transport Museum so that you can be kept up to date with museum exhibitions, special events and visits
