Friends win volunteer awards

London Transport Museum volunteers were nominated in four categories: Best team; Bringing innovation; Going the extra mile; and Developing in a role. At a reception on HMS Belfast on 28th October, the London Transport Museum volunteers came away with three runners up awards and were outright winners in the Bringing Innovation Category. That award went to Steve Leppert and David Burnell for their volunteer work in guiding visitors around the Museum's Poster Art 150 exhibition; and for devising and implementing tours of the Charles Holden stations and the suburban environments at the eastern end of the Piccadlly Underground LIne.
