The Museum's annual get together and thank you for Museum volunteers - most of whom are Friends - was held again at Acton Depot.
With a keynote address from Museum Director, Sam Mullins, he highlighted the huge contribution volunteers have made to the museum's year, both in time and income. Without the thousands and thousands of hours of volunteer time, it would be impossible to run the Museum.
A number of awards were presented, notably to teams, showing the importance of team work to the museum.
Volunteers were treated to a barbecue lunch and a programme of activities, such as rides on RCL2229 and LT1076 and a working display from the signalling team and a tour of the poster art store.
