The Friends have agreed the following curatorial grants to London Transport Museum to support Museum curatorial projects in 2024/5:

Completion of repairs to Charabanc

Heritage Train Restoration (excluding Q-Stock)

Relighting & new barriers for vehicles at Covent Garden

The Friends have also offered to fund the current Curatorial Assistant post for a second year and also an additional Curatorial Assistant post. A further sum of £59,452 has been provided in the Friends’ 2024/25 budget for these posts, awaiting Museum confirmation.
Further grants for non-curatorial projects are being discussed with the Museum.
